Philips Electronic Multimeter PM2401

The Electronic Multimeter PM 2401 is a universal measuring instrument for accurate current and voltage as well as resistance measurements.

The measuring amplifier of the apparatus is fully transistorised and can be supplied by four standard batteries or four NiCd rechargeable batteries. Consequently, the Electronic Multimeter is completely independent from the mains; all disadvantages of mains supply are thus avoided.

Owing to the numerous measuring ranges and the high degree of indication sensitivity, the apparatus has a wide range of applications, for example for measurements in laboratories, service workshops, factories, out in the open, etc.

The Multimeter can be used in conjunction with the Philips GM6070 probe for  measurement of voltages up to 30 kV.

LEAK is the brand name for high-fidelity audio equipment made by H. J. Leak & Co. Ltd, of London, England. The company was founded in 1934 by Harold Joseph Leak and was sold to the Rank Organisation in January 1969. During the 1950s and 60s, the company produced high-quality amplifiers, radio tuners, loudspeakers (the LEAK Sandwich), pickups, arms and a turntable. The sale of the business to Rank saw an expanded range of models, and considerable further development of loudspeakers, but Rank was not able to position the brand to counter competition from Japanese electronics manufacturers, so by the late 1970s electronics and speaker production ceased under the LEAK name.¹

 The Samsung SGH-E250 mobile was introduced in 2006 as an entry level version of the Samsung D900 (The ULTRA edition 12.9) mobile. The E250 has very similar features to the D900, but the screen resolution is roughly half of that of the D900 and the camera is only 0.3MP compared to the D900's 3MP camera.

In 2009, Samsung Electronics also introduced the SGH-E250i, a dual band variant version of the SGH-E250, for GSM 900 and 1800 MHz networks. The Samsung SGH-E250i, which has the same design of the E250, has an 800 mAh battery instead of E250's 750 mAh and features VGA camera, 2.0" display, Bluetooth, MP3 player, and FM radio with recording. But, it has some visual improvements in the software along with background music playback compared to the SGH-E250.¹

The Slide Rule, also known colloquially in the United States as a slipstick, is a mechanical analog computer. The Slide Rule is used primarily for multiplication and division, and also for functions such as roots, logarithms and trigonometry, but is not normally used for addition or subtraction. Though similar in name and appearance to a standard ruler, the Slide Rule is not ordinarily used for measuring length or drawing straight lines.¹
